SAN DIEGO (December 15, 2021) – San Diego Wave Fútbol Club unveiled their official team crest and colors that will serve as marks representing the newest franchise of the National Women’s Soccer League on a global scale and instantly becomes one of the most bold logos in professional sports.

WAVE FC colors embody the vibrant culture of Southern California. Our shield symbolize strength & diversity, the relentless force of the wave and the community that stands with us.

The first 10,000 fans inside the gates will receive a Latin-inspired custom captain’s armband that shows the club’s logo and is surrounded by the colorful flair of vibrant papel picado. Throughout the match, fans will be treated to a Latin music in-stadium playlist throughout the night.

Think Blue San Diego’s mission is to stop ocean pollution before it starts and ensure clean water and clean beaches for all San Diegans. The Think Blue San Diego logo will occupy the top-back of both the Wave’s home and away jerseys. Wave FC will open the 2023 campaign on Saturday, March 25 at Snapdragon Stadium.

SAN DIEGO (Oct. 15, 2024) – San Diego Wave FC (3-0-0, 9 points) returns to Snapdragon Stadium to host Club América Femenil (2-1-0, 6 points) on Wednesday, Oct. 16 for the final group stage match of the inaugural Concacaf W Champions Cup.

San Diego Wave FC today announced that, prior to roster freeze, the club signed forward Trinity Byars to a three-year contract through the 2026 season with a mutual option for 2027. The signing of Byars marks the first active NCAA athlete to join the NWSL following the league’s transition away from the NWSL

The Wave will debut the new home kit featuring the WILL PERFORM logo this Saturday, March 25 against the Chicago Red Stars at Snapdragon Stadium, at 7:00 p.m. PT. Earlier this week, Wave FC announced that the club has broken the NWSL home opener record for attendance with 23,500 tickets sold.
