The Washington Nationals lost to the lowly Colorado Rockies at Nationals Park last night 6-4 after being up 4-3 in the ninth and not scoring a run after not scoring a run in the game's final four innings.

There are growing calls for the Washington Nationals to fire manager Dave Martinez. Martinez, who has been the Washington Nationals manager since 2018, led the franchise to its first-ever World Series championship in 2019.

And the presence of ace MacKenzie Gore on the mound couldn’t keep the Nationals from seeing their losing streak reach eight with a 3-1 loss to the Marlins.
