Following severe flash flooding on the East Coast, transport infrastructure in New York has been hit with travel disruption.

Another hot and muggy summer day is ahead for Philadelphia and its suburbs, with late-day soaking scattered showers that could cause flash flooding in some areas.

A Flood Watch is in effect for southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of NJ and Delaware. The flood risk will be followed by dangerous heat on Thursday.
