Beyoncé opened her world tour for her Grammy-winning 'Cowboy Carter' album on Monday night in Inglewood with wit, spectacle and a tip of the hat to the women who paved her own historic trail.

Beyoncé opened her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin Circuit Tour April 28 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, and it played in Chicago before the East Rutherford shows, which include Saturday, May 24; Sunday, May 25; Wednesday, May 28; and Friday, May 29.
