Ukraine's inventory of Patriot surface-to-air missile systems have been very effective against Russia, two US Army officers told BI.

Germany is in advanced talks with the US to secure at least two additional Patriot air-defense systems for Ukraine as Russia steps up its drone and missile attacks and Washington places a hold on weapons deliveries this week.

Germany is in talks on buying Patriot air defence systems for Ukraine to help it counter some of the heaviest Russian attacks since the war began in 2022, a government spokesperson said on Friday. The U.
