The NBA Finals continue tonight, as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Indiana Pacers for Game 5. This best-of-seven series is tied at 2-2.
The Thunder are up, 3-2, against the Indiana Pacers after back-to-back wins. Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander combined for 71 points in a Game 5 win on Monday night. The Thunder are back in the NBA Finals for the first time since 2012 after eliminating the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games in the Western Conference finals.
The Thunder made history in Game 5 for their ability to force turnovers. The Pacers finished with 22 turnovers, compared to the Thunder's 11. The Pacers set an NBA record by becoming the first team in NBA Finals history to record 15-plus steals and 12-plus blocks.
The Thunder are one win from their first NBA title since the team moved from Seattle in 2008. The Pacers are on the brink of elimination.
