New signings Luka Modric and Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez will not be part of AC Milan's preseason tour across the Asia-Pacific region.

So now that the 39-year-old former Ballon d’Or winner has joined the Rossoneri after 13 seasons at Real Madrid, he won’t stand for the mediocrity that Milan displayed last season for an eighth-placed finish in Serie A that excluded the squad from Europe this coming season.

The most notable exit of the window for Real has been Luka Modric, who has joined AC Milan. Modric is now orchestrating a potential transfer of his former teammate to join him in Italy. Modric is hoping that Fran Garcia will join him at Milan, according to reports out of AS.
