Drake is suing his record label for spreading a “false and malicious narrative” when it released and promoted Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

Drake sued his music distributor, Universal Music, for defamation and harassment over the release and promotion of Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us."

Drake's legal team said Universal Music Group used its resources to "elevate a dangerous and inflammatory message that was designed to assassinate Drake’s character."

Although Meek Mill responded to the Newark, New Jersey native, he gave a convoluted answer. He went off on a tangent about streaming numbers, stating that he ignored his label’s advice not to drop “DC4” until the feud was over. He also seemingly implied that there was a social media campaign fueling the beef.

Universal Music Group is not afraid of the Toronto rapper's lawsuit and is willing to "vigorously defend this litigation."
