The San Francisco 49ers traded up to select Lance with the third pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He sat for most of his rookie season behind Jimmy Garoppolo, making two spot starts but otherwise operating as the backup and taking the very-occasional short yardage run.

Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons will get a chance to extend his streak of double-digit sack seasons. Parsons, who has 9.5 sacks, returned to a full practice Friday and has no injury designation. He went onto the report Thursday as a limited participant with a wrist injury.
