The New York Yankees ended their 30-inning scoreless streak Wednesday night when Jazz Chisholm Jr. homered in the second inning against the Los Angeles Angels.

After failing to get a run across in the first inning of the series finale against the Angels on Wednesday, their scoreless streak reached 30 innings. Fortunately, it didn't progress any further. During the second inning,

Chisholm left the game shortly after he stole third in the sixth inning. Chisholm got banged up on the play, hurting his neck. Garcia, trying to catch the throw from home while applying a tag, saw his glove connect with Chisholm’s helmet as the Yankee slid face-first into the Royal’s shin.
