Parents and students were surprised to learn of the housing arrangements, but everyone seemed to settle in nicely on Monday.

The Shaler Area School District has announced the start of the new school year has been postponed until Wednesday, August 20. Classes were originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 19.
