A lawsuit filed on Wednesday asks for a San Jose State University volleyball player to be declared ineligible for the Mountain West Conference tournament because the player is reportedly transgender.

Two Boise State volleyball players have joined a lawsuit against the Mountain West, Commissioner Gloria Nevarez, and four San Jose State officials.
