Following Pope Leo the 14th’s official installation mass, the diocese of Rochester gathered at Sacred Heart Cathedral Monday night. The mass of thanksgiving was open to all parishioners and leaders of the catholic faith in this area.

Pope Leo XIV was formally inaugurated at the Vatican. The beginning of his papacy was marked by a historic ceremony and the traditional presentation of the Fisherman’s Ring. The inauguration mass was steeped in centuries-old traditions.
