Thursday morning is a muggy and mostly cloudy one across North Texas. Some areas of the region have seen visibilities drop to less than a half of a mile, but the cloud cover and fog will clear through the morning hours and into the afternoon.

Record-high heat is sticking around through the weekend. The Trump administration evicted former Coast Guard Commandant Linda Fagan from her home with three hours of notice on Tuesday. The Trump White House press secretary's gaffe prompted two words to trend online.

A couple of cold fronts will impact North Texas this week, but the cooler air associated with these fronts will remain north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As a result, we will have to wait until late Saturday for the next significant cool-down.
