The man arrested on murder and arson charges in the death of a woman who was set on fire inside a subway train has been arraigned, while police said the identity of the victim was still “pending.”

A suspect is in custody after the incident on an F train in Brooklyn on Sunday morning. Officers found a woman "fully engulfed in flames."

The man accused of lighting a woman on fire on a New York City subway and fanning the flames as she burned to death made his first appearance in court this week, while authorities were yet to publicly identify the victim.
