The first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs continues with Game 3 in the Eastern Conference between the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic on Friday. The Celtics are currently in a strong position, leading the best-of-seven series 2-0. However their star player, Jayson Tatum, is uncertain for Game 3 due to injury.

The Boston Celtics are ahead 2-0 in their first-round series with the Orlando Magic, but they've still had adversity. Superstar forward Jayson Tatum sustained a wrist injury in Game 1 and missed Game 2 because of it. Now, the Duke alum is listed as "doubtful" for Game 3 on Friday, via SB Nation's Noa Dalzell.

Tatum suffered a right wrist bone bruise in Game 1 of the first round series against the Magic. The injury occurred in the fourth quarter when he went up for a dunk and was knocked out of the air by Orlando's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Tatum hit the ground hard and Caldwell-Pope earned a flagrant foul.
