Software developer Astronomer says former Chief Executive Officer Andy Byron resigned amid controversy following his attendance at a recent Coldplay concert.

Technology company Astronomer said its CEO, Andy Byron, has resigned after he was shown embracing a woman on a screen during a Coldplay concert.

"Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met," the company said in a statement.
