On Bhagwan Birsa Munda's 150th birth anniversary, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar declared Sarai Kale Khan Chowk as Birsa Munda Chowk.

Jamui, Nov 15 (PTI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled development projects worth Rs 6,640 crore from Bihar's Jamui district on Friday. Modi was in the district to attend a function organised on the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, which is celebrated as 'Janjatiya Gaurav Divas'.

New Delhi: Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced on Friday that the chowk outside the ISBT bus stand in Delhi's Sarai Kale Khan will now be named after Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The declaration came on the occasion of 'Janjatiya Gaurav Divas', that is also the 150th birth anniversary of the tribal independence activist.

Prez Droupadi Murmu, VP Jagdeep and other senior leaders paid tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Parliament on Nov 15. The tribute was paid on Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, honouring Munda’s legacy as a tribal leader and freedom fighter.
