As Robert Eggers continues to travel back in time for his stories, his new film Werwulf has found its titular cast. According to Nexus Point News, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the titular lycanthrope, which reunites him with Eggers after Nosferatu.

Robert Eggers is getting the wheels in motion on his next film Werwulf as sources have confirmed to Deadline that Aaron-Taylor Johnson is set to star in the Focus Features pic with Lily Rose-Depp in talks to join the pic.

Johnson, who starred in director Robert Eggers’ stylish vampire hit, is set to re-team with the filmmaker for his next film, “Werwulf.” Lily-Rose Depp, who led the 2024 gothic horror film, is also in talks to join the project.
