Thousands of T-Mobile users reported issues with the phone service Tuesday afternoon, but according to the provider, the issues have been fixed. According to outage detector site Downdetector, the peak of outages hit around 2:30 p.m. ET, when more than 19,000 users reported problems. The majority of reports indicated users did not have signal.

T-Mobile appeared to be affected by a network outage on Tuesday. The outage appeared to be centered in Utah and affecting T-Mobile-based MVNOs such as Google Fi Wireless and Mint Mobile. T-Mobile states the outage was the result of a "brief mechanical issue.
