San Diego Police are at the scene of an officer-involved shooting downtown Tuesday night. According to San Diego Police, the shooting happened on the 600 block of Broadway around 8:30 p.m.

The San Diego Police Department was on the scene of a police shooting near Kettner Boulevard and West Broadway, not far from the Santa Fe Depot. A man died after a police officer fired his gun during an incident in San Diego's downtown area Tuesday night.

An investigation has been launched into an in-custody death that happened while a man was being detained following an altercation at a downtown San Diego bar Saturday night.
