What Samsung thought would be a throwaway mention of the S Pen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra has become a lasting story. The company removed Bluetooth functionality from the S Pen, citing a survey showing that only 1% of owners used its enhanced features.

After a blog post teased S25 Ultra S Pen Bluetooth support, Samsung has confirmed to Android Authority that the message was in error.

Samsung has reportedly removed all references to a Bluetooth S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra following user confusion. The company previously stated one was available and "sold separately;" however, that was not the case.
