JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — Voters across Mississippi Senate District 18 elected Lane Taylor as their new lawmaker. Taylor secured 58.1% of the vote over Mark Forsman, Lindsey Kidd, Marty Sistrunk and Jackson Melton in the special election on Tuesday, April 15, The Neshoba Democrat reported.
