Chip manufacturer Nvidia has become the first company in history to hit a $4 trillion dollar market capitalisation on Wall Street, after a rapid rise in value over recent months (per the Financial Times).

The Nvidia technology company now stands alone at the top of the worth list as on Wednesday it became the first publicly traded company to reach $4 trillion in market value.

The U.S. chipmaker has had a remarkable march to record highs and has soared around 20% this year, thanks to its leading role powering the artificial intelligence boom.
