Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed the Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies bill into law Thursday. "Arkansas has to do a better job when it comes to maternal health," Sanders said earlier in the year. The governor, along with Sen. Missy Ervin and Rep. Aaron Pilkington, discussed how they want care for moms-to-be in Arkansas to change.

There is bipartisan support in Concord for what lawmakers are calling "Momnibus 2.0," a legislative package that targets maternal mental health.

Supporters of the measure say it helps address an issue that too often goes unnoticed and untreated.
