The Orlando Magic have selected Jase Richardson with the No. 25 pick in the 2025 NBA draft. Richardson earned third-team All-Big Ten honors this past season at Michigan State and was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

Jase Richardson and Noah Penda were beaming with pride when the Magic formally introduced them at Orlando’s AdventHealth Training Center on Friday.

Jase Richardson wasn’t among the two dozen players invited to the green room for the 2025 NBA draft at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The former Michigan State guard watched with his family at home in Florida and learned he’d be staying in the state after one season in East Lansing.
