The plucky Pistons kept themselves alive for at least one more game, beating the Knicks 106-103 in yet another physical, back-and-forth battle that was close right to the final buzzer.

After the game, Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau took some heat for leaving Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart on the bench for nearly all of the final three minutes of the game. The pair subbed out with just under three minutes remaining and weren't able to return until a stoppage with 27 seconds left.
