The members-only warehouse club is set to open its first standalone gas station in Mission Viejo, California, according to reporting by the Orange County Register. The 40-pump station, expected to open by spring 2026, will be the retailer's largest gas station and sell Costco's in-house brand of Kirkland Signature Gasoline.

According to the Orange County Register, Costco will soon debut its first stand-alone gas station — also its largest — in Mission Viejo, a city in Orange County. The 40-pump gas station is slated to be about 2 miles from its nearest retail outlet and accessible to Costco members only.
