The father of a 9-year-old has been charged with murder in the second degree and concealment of a human corpse after he allegedly murdered his daughter in upstate New York.

Television station WNYT in Albany is reporting that 9-year old Melina Galanis Frattolin, the object of an Amber Alert issued this morning, has been found dead. The station cites sources confirming that she was found deceased.

An investigation into the death of nine-year-old Melina Frattolin continues. Her father, Luciano Frattolin, has been charged with second degree murder and concealment of a human corpse. He pleaded not guilty.
