Catherine Rampell is an opinion columnist for The Washington Post and, just announced this morning, come this spring, she will be a co-host of the evening edition of “The Weekend” on MSNBC from 6 to 9pm ET Saturdays and Sundays alongside Ayman Mohyeldin and an additional to-be-named co-host.

Catherine Rampell is joining MSNBC as co-host of The Weekend's 6 p.m. ET show. Formerly a Washington Post opinion columnist, Rampell joins Ayman Mohyeldin and a soon-to-be-announced third co-host on the roundtable show franchise,
