The Knicks are set to add a former NBA Sixth Man of the Year in free agency. Jordan Clarkson, the 2021 NBA Sixth Man with the Utah Jazz, will join the Knicks on the veteran’s minimum after clearing waivers with the Jazz, per ESPN. Clarkson is represented by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.

For the Knicks he likely will take the place of free agent Precious Achiuwa. At 6-foot-8, 260-pounds, the 29-year-old Yabusele can serve as both a power forward and center. But Yabusele is a more dangerous threat from beyond the arc than Achiuwa, who has shot under 30% from deep for three straight seasons.

Clarkson will be an excellent bench addition for the Knicks. He's known for being a lethal three-point shooter and scorer when he's on, although he can be streaky.
