Daniel Penny, the Long Island native and Marine vet acquitted for the manslaughter of a homeless man on a New York City subway train last year, has landed a job at a $45 billion venture capital firm.

Mr. Penny, who was acquitted after choking a mentally ill subway passenger to death, will work for Andreessen Horowitz. Before the killing, he had been an architecture student.

Vice President JD Vance celebrated the news that the prestigious venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz hired Daniel Penny, a Marine veteran who was acquitted two months ago of a negligent
