The New England Patriots new defensive coordinator is recovering after recently suffering what he deemed to be an “eye-opening medical situation.”

"I'm working remotely right now," Williams said, via Reiss. "Hopefully I'll be able to get back soon and just be in the building and be around everyone ... I'll just say right now that I'm doing OK and I appreciate all the prayers from everybody."

New England Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams is not present at the team's rookie minicamp as he is dealing with a medical condition, head coach Mike Vrabel announced on Friday. Vrabel said that inside linebackers coach Zak Kuhr has been handling Williams' responsibilities in his absence.
