Home security camera footage allegedly captured a slain California fire captain pleading for her life while her wife, who is accused of her murder, was holding a knife.

Yolanda Marodi, 53, is at large and authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating her. She is wanted in the murder of her wife, Rebecca Marodi.

A Cal Fire captain allegedly stabbed to death by her wife at their home sought to leave the marriage shortly before she was killed, court papers said.

Marodi’s service began in 1993 as a volunteer firefighter in Moreno Valley. She went on to serve as a seasonal firefighter in Riverside and San Bernardino counties before promoting to fire apparatus engineer in 2007 and achieving the rank of captain in 2022.

An arrest warrant has been issued in the murder of a fire captain in California after she was stabbed multiple times in her own home on Feb. 17, according to officials.

Rebecca Marodi, 49, died after suffering several stab wounds last week. Investigators identified her wife as a suspect.
