This week at Yankee Stadium, baseball's top two power hitters will meet for three games that are pretty important in the postseason race when Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees host Cal Raleigh and the Seattle Mariners.
NEW YORK - Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh continued his ascent through the Major League Baseball record books on Tuesday night, blasting his 36th home run
A video has been unearthed of an 8-year-old Cal Raleigh, now a Seattle Mariners All-Star, proclaiming to be the Home Run Derby champ.
But Raleigh has been a much better hitter on the road this year. Despite having played two fewer games on the road thus far, he has 18 home runs away from home compared to 17 at T-Mobile Park.
Raleigh's dad Todd, who will be throwing to him at the Derby, shared a video to MLB's Daniel Kramer of the Seattle Mariners catcher at 8 years old sharing his goal of winning the Home Run Derby. Watch the cute video below where the young Raleigh declares that he's "the Home Run Derby champ."
