New Jersey flooding hits local Irish pubDowling's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Roselle Park, New Jersey, was flooded this week. Owner Russell Olden spoke about how, despite 5-6 inches of floodwater pouring into the restaurant, he and his team were able to reopen the restaurant the day after the flood event.
Footage shows wooden slats from the home on the ground with other debris. The blast took place around the same time heavy rainfall hit the northeast.
With a hot and juicy atmosphere, torrential downpours and flash flooding are back in play for at least part of New Jersey late Wednesday.
Transit agencies in the New York City area were promising a fairly smooth commute with some lingering delays on Tuesday, the morning after heavy rain pummeled the region, flooding parts of the subway system, inundating major roads and causing long flight delays.
