With the 40th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, the Pelicans selected Georgetown wing Micah Peavy. The 6’7, 200-pound guard played five years of college basketball. He started his career at Texas Tech before transferring to TCU and Georgetown, where he was one of the Hoyas’ top players.
