MSU student accused of social media threat charged
A Michigan State University student from Metro Detroit has been charged in connection with allegedly posting a threat against the school on social media. Hope Duncan, 18, was arraigned Friday in Ingham County on felony charges of false report of threat of terrorism and using a computer to commit a crime, records show.
According to MSU police, officers located the person of interest within an hour of learning of the online threat.
