Nick Castellanos hit a grand slam, Zack Wheeler pitched six strong innings and the Philadelphia Phillies completed a three-game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays with an 11-4 victory.

"He's got a lot of fire," Castellanos said. "He's living his dream right now, right? Fresh in the big leagues, a lot of energy ... It's just fun to watch."

Speaking of the big guy upstairs, Otto Kemp was feeling the spirit a bit on this day, too. The nice-guy rookie who went from being an undrafted baseball grad of the Point Loma Nazarene University Sea Lions to the backup first baseman for the Phillies in only five years’ time, had himself a Sunday, too.

Zack Wheeler remains one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball, but he doesn't plan to remain in the game once his current contract with the Philadelphia Phillies expires after the 2027 season.

In six seasons with the Phillies, Wheeler is 65-34 with a 2.93 ERA, including 6-2 with a 2.85 ERA in 13 starts in 2025.
