The 18-year-old made the career-changing move on Tuesday, signing a five-year deal and netting his formative club a record-breaking fee, believed to be around £5m.

Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou has described Lennon Miller’s transfer to Udinese as a “fantastic deal” for the Steelmen and Scottish football. The teenage midfielder completed his move to the Serie A side on Tuesday as he joins the likes of Lewis Ferguson, Scott McTominay, and Billy Gilmour in Italy’s top flight.
