Amazon is expanding its same-day grocery delivery service to 1,000 cities and towns across the U.S., the company said Wednesday.

In most cities, same-day grocery delivery for members of Amazon’s Prime customer benefits program is free for orders over $25 and carries a $2.99 fee for orders below the minimum purchase amount. Non-Prime customers pay $12.99 for the same-day service, with no minimum order size.

Amazon has announced that customers in more than 1,000 U.S. cities and towns will soon be able order perishable groceries, including produce, dairy, meat, seafood, baked goods and frozen foods, for same-day delivery.
