Ferrari won the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the third straight year Sunday, but a late surge from Porsche Penske Motorsport denied the Italian manufacturer a podium sweep.

Ferrari have claimed that the car disqualified from the Le Mans 24 Hours gained no performance advantage despite being excluded for a flexi-wing breach. Ferrari collected a third consecutive Le Mans win last weekend as a privately entered 499P car piloted by former F1 star Robert Kubica,

Robert Kubica helped Ferrari win the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the third year in a row. Driving with Ye Yifei and Philip Hanson, Kubica crossed the finish line first in the bright yellow No. 83 Ferrari.
