The northbound lanes of the FDR Drive are shut down early Thursday morning due to a fatal motorcycle crash, according to the NYPD. Police said it happened around 3:45 a.m. Officers found a 31-year-old motorcyclist lying in the roadway with severe trauma,

Matthew Goicochea, 31, was riding a Yamaha motorcycle northbound on the highway when he fell from the bike near East 25th Street, police said.
