At this point, Jalen Brooks looks to be a practice squad candidate, alongside UDFA signing Traeshon Holden. Seth Williams, Kelvin Harmon, Jalen Moreno and Josh Kelly (UDFA) all have a lot of work to do to make an impression during OTAs, minicamp and training camp.

However, the Cowboys' options at wide receiver haven't been up to par beyond Lamb. Brandin Cooks was their WR2 in 2023 with 54 receptions for 657 yards and eight touchdowns. Last season, Jalen Tolbert took over the role and managed 49 catches for 610 yards and seven scores.

Pickens, 24, is entering the final year of his rookie deal, which means Jerry Jones, who serves as Cowboys general manager on top of owning the franchise, will have to sit down with the receiver's representation at some point to explore an extension.
