Corrections officers at prisons all over New York State are going on strike. The list now includes, Attica, Auburn, Collins, Elmira, Lakeview, Wende and Wyoming.

A Buffalo parole officer is gearing up after receiving unexpected orders to report to the Collins Correctional Facility, as correction officers at over 20 New York State prisons went on strike for a third day Wednesday.

Republican members of the New York state Legislature and those from Congress continued lining up in support of corrections officers who are staging strikes at incarceration facilities in our region and throughout the state.
