Microsoft Outlook down as Hotmail email crashes
Microsoft Outlook users across the UK say they can't access their emails this morning after the service crashed. A system error is reportedly to blame, causing warnings to be sent to users claiming their licence is invalid - including to those who are up-to-date with their subscription payments.

The fix is also expected to reach Outlook 2016 on July 1 and Outlook 2019 on July 8. To see which version you're running, select the File menu in Outlook and click Office Account.
Now, another issue has cropped up: Outlook is crashing when many different emails are opened at once. Microsoft is aware of both problems and currently working on permanent fixes for both.
