The Maple Leafs lost to the Panthers to end their Stanley Cup Playoffs run short of the Conference Final once again.

Maple Leafs fans made their feelings about Auston Matthews quite clear on Wednesday night. A member of the Toronto faithful tossed Matthews’ jersey onto the ice as the team was in the midst of getting dismantled 6-1 by the Panthers at ScotiaBank Arena.

The Toronto Maple Leafs did look different at times throughout their 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs run. However, the final result was the same as the Maple Leafs got booed off the Scotiabank Arena ice following a 6-1 drubbing at the hands of the Florida Panthers in Game 7.
