As anticipation builds for the 2025 Home Run Derby in Atlanta, New York Yankees star Aaron Judge offered a firm response about his potential participation—one that’s making headlines across the league.
The injury bug continued to bite the New York Yankees on Thursday, as an infielder who missed the whole month of May was held out of the lineup again.
The Yankees will be going for a three-game sweep of the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium, with rookie right-hander Will Warren on the mound.
The Royals did manage to score before the game ended, as Salvador Perez launched a two-run homer off Mark Leiter Jr. in the ninth after a routine popup fell in the Yankees’ infield. Leiter then gave away another run with a throwing error.
